China Friendship Development International Engineering Design and Consulting Corporation (FDDC) was established in 1993 ( previously It was set up in 1988 as a Complant design and consulting company, and named China International Engineering Design and Consulting Corporation ), the registered capital was RMB 25 million Yuan. At the time of its establishment, FDDC was affiliated with then the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. In 1999 FDDC was disconnected with the Ministry and became affiliated with Foreign Economic and Trade Commission of Beijing Municipality. In 2003 FDDC was put under supervision of the State Capital Supervisory and Administration Commission of Beijing Municipality.
　　 FDDC is a wholly state owned enterprise and has secured A grade construction and engineering design qualification, A grade construction supervision qualification and A grade engineering consulting qualification, and is qualified to conduct foreign cooperated operation.
　　 FDDC is member of China Engineering Consulting Association, member of China International Engineering Consulting Association, member of China Survey and Design Association and member of China Construction Supervision Association. FDDC has secured confirmation of ISO9001 quality administration system.
　　 FDDC has large number of senior and medium lever professional technicians including State first or second grade registered architects, State first grade registered structural Engineers, State registered supervision Engineers, senior equipment and electrical Engineers, registered cost Engineers and registered consulting Engineers and senior and medium lever Commercialists and Economists.
　　 There are several business departments within FDDC including design technical consulting Dept, Engineering Dept, supervision Dept, economic consulting Dept and import and export Dept.
　　 The main business of FDDC is to provide technical and economic consulting, project design, construction, construction supervision and export of equipment and materials for projects under our country’s foreign economic and technical assistance and also for projects within the country. FDDC also handles general export and recruit labors to meet oversees needs.
　　 FDDC has, since its establishment, undertaken and completed over 60 engineering design projects, over 120 supervision projects, over 170 technical consulting projects and over 2,500 economic consulting projects under foreign economic and technical assistance. These projects are spread over in nearly 100 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Oceania.
